Data Handling / First Review
Agree the handling method before records are accessed.
An initial GigaCarbon review can start with one narrow, preferably historical case. The aim is to answer a defined question with the minimum information needed.
Possible first-review modes
Records remain in your environment.
The review may use an agreed controlled method inside the organisation’s own environment. GigaCarbon may still see or otherwise access information during the review, so normal privacy and confidentiality requirements continue to apply.
A minimised case is worked through together.
A redacted or minimised historical case, or a non-confidential example, may be reviewed collaboratively. A screen share can still expose confidential or personal information and does not bypass contractual or privacy obligations.
A small approved extract is provided.
A specifically approved extract may be provided for the agreed review after the handling method, purpose and participants have been agreed. Any transfer, return or deletion arrangements must also be agreed for that review.
Before a review begins
- Choose one narrow question and, where possible, a historical case.
- Confirm that the relevant data owner has authorised the review.
- Remove or redact personal and confidential information that is not needed.
- Agree how access will occur, who will participate, and what outputs may be retained.
- Agree any return or deletion steps before records are provided.
What this does not imply
No live-system integration is required for an initial review. GigaCarbon will not ask someone to breach an NDA or internal data policy.
These modes do not claim a production deployment, automatic multi-source reconciliation or an enterprise security programme. Any future hosted or file-transfer workflow would require separate, expressly agreed controls.
Discuss a first review
To discuss the narrow question and an appropriate handling mode, email contact@5ceco.com. Do not send operational records before a handling method has been agreed.
